Hey we left our X box on for 3 hours on top of a satelite receiver and now all we get is a blinking Red/Green light on the front. (overheating signal)
It works once in a while but usualy we get the flashing lights. Not even a year old and hasnt been dropped or spilt on or anything. Typical Microsoft :wtc:

red and green can mean many errors, if it isn't displaying anything check the connection with the A/V cable. only time i ever had mine over heat was when i unpluged the fan, and it over heated in like 3 mins. make sure it is still working.

if it is less than a year old call microsoft, proably still under warranty

I know people who leave their XBOX on 24/7 with no problems.

i used to get the red/green light when my modchip was out of place (back when i had a screw-on one). i've never heard of an xbox overheating without a chip, or let alone with a chip
