Anyone got the hookup on WD Raptor WD740GD 74GB 10K RPM Hard Drives?

    I've heard they can be had for as low as $120-140 range through wholesalers..
    OT should do a group buy on these... :x:

    Buy a small one for the OS and Swap Files. 74GB is over-kill for the price.

    I have one and I love it....probably one of the most noticable performance enhancements. I agree that the smaller one is really all you would need but it is nice to be able to run all my games from that hdd.

    If they can be had for 120-130 I am in for another 1 or 2 :noes:

    the 74GB out performs the 36GB... so if you're going to be that excessive, you might as well go all-out.
