From what I've heard there a little smaller than Yamato's 1:60 scale Valkyries.

The sculpt looks pretty impressive but I'm waiting for the price to drop, I've heard too many horror stories about quality control issues (that Harmony Gold/Toynami is common for). :ugh:

I MIGHT get it if it drops to $40. I wanna get it because they're eventually gonna sell the Beta Fighter.

    THIS looks bad ass.

I totally forgot about the beta fighter. That is gonna be so sweet when you hook them together, like a life long dream or something. I got the Rick hunter master piece before too, the quality wasn't what I thought ut would be, but it's ok, just kind of fragile. I guess if you're careful then it's ok

    The Toynami MPC's are decent.

But if you wanna own a thing of beauty track down Yamat's 1:48 Valkyries.

    They're a thing of beauty.

do you have one of those? the only thing that bothers me is that the hikaru one isn't actually rick hunters...it's more like Max sterlings with the one eye. Strike is awesome.

I'm guessing the Alpha arrived already broken.

I wouldn't touch Toynami products with a protoculture stick. :ugh:

    Too bad. :hs:

    Pics?

nope it's purely my fault, I pushed too hard and broke this little tab. The good news is that I think I can super glue it on. I'll set up my digi cam on my comp and try to take some pics of my colleciton. But the alpha fighter is heavy compared to the masterpiece vol 1. Also build quality seems to be just a little better. Its cool that you can open all the missile hatches and make it look badass. Can't wait for the beta!

As much as I'd love a Beta Fighter I'd rather see new Cyclones.

No, I don't plan to sell it, it's one of the few memories from my childhood i still have. I got it for $16 at a swapmeet. It's also in bad condition quite a few of the little bits have cracked off and disappeared and its yellowed over on one side. Only thing it still has is its overall shape. I guess you could say its my pride and joy...
