did you try EVERYTHING else first?

go to the doc, get it checked out. if everything looks ok then stretch, get a pro deep tissue massage, walk for 20 minutes a day.

dont spend all day in bed, doesnt help

My dad started acupuncture a few years ago after his shoulder was really fucked up and he had tried everything else the doctor suggested.

He initially was very skeptical and I'd say 5 years later he swears it's the best thing he has ever done for himself. He doesn't need to go all the time, but his shoulder is better than ever and he actually looks forward to the visits; says they relax him.

Someone told me they read a study that tested putting needles in random places vs specific acupuncture spots and apparently the results were the same. They say the act of sticking you with needles is what actually has the effect because it releases some chemicals. Basically what I'm trying to say is, might as well just get a tattoo. :naughty:

I used to have a friend who did this. I think it's legit but needles freak me out so I never tried

It's not even comparable. When I get tattooed it feels nothing like accupuncture.

Chiropractic gave me headaches... helped my back but about a half hour after the appointment I would get dizzy and have a migraine.

Haven't tried acupuncture myself; I hate needles but I think it might be next on the list to try.

From what I've heard, chiros can be good.

But also from what I've heard, chiropractors run their business like a car dealership and just care about getting clients in and out. A lot of people get injured.

The waiver you sign says that death may occur. Google death after neck manipulation.

I swear by it. Its helped everyone I know that has tried it.
My sister has lupus and it attacks her joints, she started going and the swelling went down and its not nearly as bad.
I fucked up my back a few months ago and could barely move. I started going again. After 1 session I could feel a difference and it was better within a few sessions.
Don't knock it until you try it.
Its crazy having them look at your tongue too. They can tell whats wrong without you saying anything.
The needles aren't bad. You might feel them a little, but when you feel them thats when you know its in the right spot and going to help a bunch.
