Just wondering where everyone from Houston trains..
I'm originally from houston but I have never trained there. (not houston actually, but Katy, about 20 miles west of houston) Last time I visited I saw a nice looking place called Westside MMA that I wanted to check out but never really got the chance. But maybe it would be something that could lead you in the right direction. http://www.katyjiujitsu.com/
I think there are some good gyms there.....I am sure a quick search will bring up some schools.....
Yeah theres a bunch of gyms here.. I'm currently training at two(Elite for BJJ and Kru Pong for MT).. but would like to know if anyone else trains and what they think of their gym and etc.
if i lived on the north side I would train at travis tooke's place. That guy is an excellent instructor.
Yeah.. I think all the good gyms are up north..
Anyone hear any good things about Revolution Dojo?
Saul Soliz teaches MMA there now...
it's yves edwards' place, it has to be good.
yves isnt with revolution anymore, but their bjj instructor jeff messina is a great brown belt. nice small classes there, a good group of guys.
i train with travis tooke on the north side-- you MUST visit this school before making a decision about training.
Would train there.. buts a hour drive everytime.. ><
Anyone know of any good schools in the SW/Sugar Land area?
