I've dicked around with it in the past to make trippy backgrounds. But now I'm using it to render my car and I'm trying to get the reflections to flow as smoothly as possible.

I've done the rear 1/4 panel & door and I'm working on the hood. Everything else is just color placement for now.

  2. Don't waste your time with Illustrator, if I was you I'd get into 3DSMAX asap.

I used to know 3DsMax. I went to college for computer animation but got hooked on graphic design more.

Are you saying it's coming out good by that? :) Learning the gradient mesh tool will open up a new world of work I can create & jobs I can take. So it's kinda important.

I have a Visteon kit. Bought it after they discontinued the kits.

Thanks for that tutorial. I'm gonna give it a shot!
