I just recently got this error message and a link to run WinFixer came up. After scanning my PC it came up with a ton of errors in my registry. Has anyone bought it and used it before? Just wondering it if will be worth the cash.

Its spyware. Do not buy software from people who put spyware on your computer so they can sell you something to remove spyware.

Yeah I was suspicious. As a matter of fact after I made this post, I started getting hella popups. Of course its all in IE though, I can use Mozilla just fine. For some reason I like IE better though.

Anyone know of this spyware, and a possible solution to kill it? :noes: :x:

I did. Its still there. :noes:

This is what else I have found.........my computer will slow down and almost freeze. I hit CNTL+ALT+DEL and check processes.......I can literally watch IE climb 20k every second. I saw it get to 400k one time before I killed it. Wtf? :noes:

Then I rebooted........I got this when I was shutting down....

safe mode, uninstall winfixer, msconfig, kill any uneeded processes running, check the regisitry, windows, current version, run, for anything not needed, kill it, run adaware, spybot, the usual, etc
