I know I will get flamed probably because I am not talking about CZ or a Glock, but I was thinking of getting a moonclip for my .45lc to shoot .45acp. I found a place that said they "convert" the cylinder to accept a moonclip, anyone know what the exact process is, and is machineing the cylinder necessary in all cases?
Any safety, reliability issues with this?

I was thinking about trying to find a replacement cylinder and have that one machined so I could keep the factory one un touched if I needed warrenty work. I heard the cylinders are easy to switch out.

I never bothered with moonclips. I used quality speedloaders with no problems, no need to jiggle them and quick. I may even have a few left laying around here. I will check for you this weekend. Have to dig everything out.

I have seen from from 30-40 cents a round... and I think the .45acp is around 15-20.. over time it might even out.

I havent been there in a long time, the only time you ever hear Terra Alta is in sentences like "Terra Alta got 18 inches of snow" or "Terra Alta hasnt had school all week" :mamoru:

It's on their website, just go to cabelas.com and go to the hunting section :dunno: I reccomend you order a Cabelas Shooting catalog, it has alot more gun related things. You should be able to order one from their site.
