    .. stopped drinking soda .. ice cream .. etc etc .. cut all the garbage out of my meals .. havent had fast food in a while .. i get the shakes and an occasional boner when i pass wendy's

    Once.

    A couple years back I had just gotten out of a 5 year relationship that ended rather suddenly and it kinda fucked me up. I didn't eat for about a week (1/2 cup of oats in the morning was a struggle), and the following 2-3 weeks after that I struggled to even get in 2,000 cals. Had no motivation for the gym, so I stopped working out for about 8 weeks.

    All I did was play golf, hang with buddies, and drink beer.

    I stepped on a scale somewhere around 2 months after the breakup and had gone from 210 down to 175 (that's right, almost 35lbs). It was horrible. I couldn't believe it.

    The lack of eating leaned me up real fast (probably dropped about 4 % in body fat) and lost a good amount of muscle.

    I got my shit back together when school started though and started lifting/eating right and slammed on 20lbs pretty quickly.

    i stay away from the mirror .... id end up fighting that choad on the other side staring at me .... or nit pick about problem areas ..........

    That's what I do now.

    The scale messes with my head. After training for years on end and knowing my body pretty well the mirror is the best indicator for me.

    stress absolutely destroys anything i accomplish at the gym .. its like i mentally shut off and dwell on shit .. ill go from reppin' 185 to shaking and struggling to get it up in a week .. dont eat either as well ..

    Yeah, tell me about it.

    I was stressed and anxious 24/7. I literally woke up and before I could even open my eyes I was upset and stressed about the day because of all that pussy shit about "she dumped me, what am I going to do now, etc..."

    I distinctly remember... The week before it happened I repp'd 315 on decline for 6 like it was butter.

    After the 2 months off of not eating and not lifting (consuming maybe 100g of protein a day if I was lucky) I came back into the gym struggling to get 225 x 5 :rofl:

    My workout partner made fun of me for like a month because of that shit :squint:
