Or locking out all connections in general.

I've been making constent edits all nights, causing my editor to reupload every time. It's entering the correct password and all but suddenly im getting this error everytime.

ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

and its not just my ip, it just closes down all connections in general.

It's a real pain in the ass, since i have to reformat it each time, since i can't go to it locally and attempt to troubleshoot it.

Any idea what's causing this and how to avoid it from happening.

you're formatting your server everytime your ip gets firewalled?

    what the fuck?

you can't do a remote reboot.. you have to do an automated os reinstall?

    What host, what distro, etc.

I have tried restarting the server but it didn't work.

Last time i contacted support, they refused to help.

This time they did and said this.

    Hello,
Thank you for contacting VPSLink Support.

After changing your root user password, we can now verify SSH login from
outside of the VPSLink network. The new root password is:

How will i go about changing the password ?

Would that cause a conflict with whatever they set it up as ?
