Been playing with Eclipse lately on OS X. Definately the bastard child in terms of support, but I like Eclipse alot. Anyone ever made apps in Eclipse?

I dig the Graphical Editing Framework a whole lot.

We use it at school as an IDE for Java. It's pretty good as an IDE, definitely a lot nicer than CodeWarrior (which is what they used to use), and of course the price is right. It's developed by IBM and RedHat (among others), so it's being developed pretty quickly.

Are you guys using it to do general Java applications, or are you using Eclipse for its Rich Client Platform, to extend it with plugins as an application framework?

The Graphical Editing Framwork is badass. You use it to do graphical editing of data. Thats what my application calls for, but before I do that, I've been having to learn to code general plugins.
