Anyone ever buy the super absorbant chamois they have at auto shows?

I went to the SF Auto Show and was pretty impressed at how much liquid it picked up, and how easy it was to squeeze and dry. I hate having to use several towels to dry my car so I figured I would give them a try.

Well I soaked one in water and tried to wring out the liquid but it's still damp! Long story short, it's not working too well.

Has anyone else tried using these?

I have microfiber towels...they don't pick up water at all. I go through like 6 of them drying my car!

do you use waffle weave MFs? the Wal-Mart WW are what I use to dry, and get a car dry with 2 of them.
