Anyone else use Charter Communications?

    THIS COMPANY BLOWS! ive had it for about 2 years now (my only option for broadband) and their service guarntees 1.5 down and 256 up... im pulling about 700 down and 80 up....WTF IS THAT SHIT! ive called numerous times to complain and all they do is, send a truck out, and say "theres noise in the lines" last time i called was a good 2 months ago, and that was i think the 3rd-4th call/visit...... anyone else having these problems with this company?

    They work fine where I live now. In my old apt there were a lot of problems they never could fix.

    I have their 3mb cable, no problems at all in ~5 months now

    I used to have TimeWarner, and they guaranteed speeds. 2Mbps *guaranteed* with an average of 3.5-4Mbps. When my service degraded to 1.3Mbps they sent a tech out, and he spent a few hours tracking down the problem and getting me back up where I should be.

    Charter doesnt guarantee. When you buy the 1.5/256 package, that means it is capped at about 1.5Mbit down / 256kbit up.
