Just caught an episode tonight about Renato Verissimo (unfortunately had to split before it ended). It's cool to see Tapout trying to give a major sponsorship to MMA players, I have to say, the format is waaaaay too much like a professional wrestling segment regarding the guys from Tapout; Mask, Punkass, and Skyskraper :ugh: Whole thing just kinda weirded me out a bit.

I'm not a big fan of the tap out guys as they seem to try and pull off the pro wrestling image too much... but the behind the scenes stuff on the show makes it pretty interesting to watch...

i concur. however it's for different reasons. i support them as i have a business relationship with them and i think theyre good people.

however, im not gonna buy tapout logo'd merchandise because of the people that wear their products.

for some reason, whenever i see someone wearing a tapout shirt... i of course want to fight them. but i kinda want to automatically assume that theyre a poser that doesnt actually train.

wandy and chuck have tattoos on their head. i dont see the big difference. its an alternative sport that is having growing pains as it goes mainstream.

besides other sports have dumbass appearances as well.

    -redskin fans wear dresses.
-the nba had to implement a dress code since its players couldnt leave the hiphop at home
    -boxers wear sequins and tassels

Yeah Mask is obnoxious. He seems like one of those guys who is impersonating someone else he thinks is successful but doing a poor job of it. You can see him looking around for affirmation everytime he tries to act like the boss or does one of his fake laughs. He just acts so unnatural.

The only place I see TapouT clothing is at my weights gym, and considering that I see none of those guys at class (the only bjj gym in like 90 miles) I am going to assume it is true

Looks like its safe to say that under armour gives you more fighter credibility than tapout. :mamoru:
