It's going to cost $29? What is the latest build out for the beta and can I perform an upgrade or does it have to be a clean install?

I dont think you'd ever see MS come out with a windows upgrade for anywhere near that price. hell the old $129 was much better than anything they had.

Is $29 just an upgrade for those with Leopard already? Or is that for the people with Tiger as well?

they have been saying leopard when mentioning $29. so I assume tiger whatever will still be $100.

I do not have a DL-DVD. Can I copy the image file to my iPod and boot from that and install? If so, how?

Also, can I just perform this as an upgrade or do I have to do a clean install?

I reinstalled it and now it works fine.

Don't see that much difference though, although I haven't done much with it.

Safari is quite a bit faster, and overall it's quicker from what I can tell. Definitely faster than my mom's MBP at loading webpages with the same programs open, but she's not running a brand new installation.

just finished the install......it's crazy fast...can't wait for the retail version with the refined Expose and whatever else they left out of this "final" build. Still hoping they might include full multitouch for earlier intel macbooks. :x:

*edit* running this on a 2.0 CD Macbook with 2gb RAM fyi

I'm thinking about installing this, have a new 500GB 7200RPM drive coming in for my MBP tonight so I want to start with a fresh install. Should I go for it?
