When I try to verify it just sits there saying one minute to go.

Anyone know what the deal is?

It will say 1 minute but take quite a long time. Eventually it will finish. It's a known issue. Not sure if 10.5.2 helps as I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

10.5.2 fixed the SUID problem that i had in 10.5.1

Basically everyone had that issue but what Apple had a hard time figuring out is why some people had 3 that couldn't be fixed and others has 11 (or maybe it was 13) that couldn't be fixed. Now I just get other permissions issues with 10.5.2.

    Repairing permissions for “MacBook Pro”
ACL found but not expected on "Applications/Utilities".
ACL found but not expected on "Applications".
ACL found but not expected on "Library".

    Permissions repair complete
