Anyone else have trouble training at new/commercial type gyms?

    i usually work out at my college "no nonsense" type gym used mostly by the schools sport teams, but its been closed for 10 days cause of the holidays and ive had no choice but to work in the other gyms on campus. Holy shit, ive never seen so many machines in my life :rofl::rofl: It was as quite as a library and every time i dropped a DB, everyone in the gym stared at me. Almost all the dudes there didnt even look like theyve picked up a DB in their life and i just felt weird as fuck.

    dirty and old hardcore gyms ftw

    depends man I love 24 hour fitness type gyms just because there's always fine women to stare at and generally be creepy towards. lots of benches and typically at least a few racks which is enough. oh and they are dirt cheap.

    nope. I have no "trouble training at new/commercial type gyms."

    As long as the DBs go up to at least 50, i'll get a strong workout in. Obviously wouldn't work as a permanent gym, but from time to time, i would still get my beast on.

    only idiots and cavemen drop dumbbells. Only exception is 120lb db and up, and even then, handle your weights.
