  4. Yeah. You can get them from Brownells, and with the discount they're a little cheaper than other places.

Get the XTM's. I use the ladders on the upper and lower rails but like full panels where I am gripping the rail.

  8. There's no rush to get it back, don't go out of your way for it. If it gets here next week or in 3 weeks it's no big deal. Post pics of your SBR.

    they actually stay on?

that's kinda why I wanted the non-ladder style ones, as it's more comfortable to hold. but I don't know if I trust even these, since the other magpul ones are so fucking shitt

The XTMs are solid. The interlock pretty tight and it usually takes two screw drivers for me to get them apart.

Snap on panels are supposed to be tough... if they went on easy they'd come off easy. If they absolutely won't go on I'll go out on a limb and say it is more likely that your YHM rail is out of spec than the Magpul panels.

this is what I was wondering, as my 2 piece hand guard I had on it before, they fit, albeit pretty tight

EDIT: nvm. they dont' fit on the 2-piece either. it was a different brand I had on (the ones where they have the little snap on one end)

I think these magpul ones are either out of spec or just suck donkey dick

I have Magpul ones on three different rails and they fit great on all of them. have them on an old YHM rail, the new YHM rail and on a Troy. They are snug to get on, but once you do, they are in place and good to go. Easy to get off too when you decide.

    I really like them.

Here they are on two guns, the new YHM and the Troy.

I put some magpul ladder type on and they were tight as fuck, but no where near as bad as the tango down vfg :ugh: that thing was a bitch.

  16. The best price I've found on the ladders is from Brownells. Their lightweight shipping is also only a few bucks, which helps. They're still like $10 each though. :ugh: :wtc:
