I'm tempted to. Never really played the original one much apart from going through the training bullshit.

Same here, I hated that shit. I knew what they were trying to do but it was still supposed to be a game and I don't really care about training.

Anywho, I'm pretty sure that in this one the training is optional. They tried to make this more of a game and less of a grunt life simulator.

I don't recall them calling it a game. It's a simulation trying to get young potential soldiers to join the army. So they would include training obviously.

Surely you can agree that it's an advertising vehicle, Mugatu... I mean, it's pretty fucking obvious.

it would be no different then sitting potential recruits down and having them play rounds of cod4. it's a game, this one is just dressed up for the army

Is this one going to be free again? I played the first from day one. I got through the training before the servers went live :mamoru:
It is an advertisement for the armed forces, and get this. It is payed for by your tax dollars :noes:
It was most definitely a fun game and the devs were great guys to play with. I don't think either of my pc's will run it. :hs:

How's the multiplayer supposed to be? Realistic? If there are one (or a few) shot kills I might be in. :x:

    Uhhhhh... no.

Do you really think that is the point of this? What, they are putting some sort of mind control thing, people play for 20 hours and walk into the local recruiters?
    Are you stupid?

This is public relations. I personally think it is a GENIUS move on there part.

Besides, not a damned thing wrong with joining the Army.

I have a brother in law that does IT work in the Navy.
I do IT work as well. I got laid off in October.

Guess which one of us is jealous of the other?
