I bought a 2340 years ago and really like it. Never had a problem with it. However I hear a lot of people bashing them. They either don't like Sigs or just like the metal framed Sigs. If anyone else out there has a SigPro or has ever used one, I'd love to know what you think.

I've handled a few Sig Pros and didn't like the grip. It was just wrong for me to round and fat. I believe I didn't like the grip angle as well. I can't comment on the finish though.

I do, however, love my P220. Everything just feels right for me on it. It's an older one. Proofed in the late 80s and it's finish is great so I can't imagine the finish of the Sig Pro to be much different.

Had a 2340, worst handgun I ever owned besides an Accu-Tek (I was 19 years old, cut me some slack). Grip felt bad, the POI was simply "off", and overall quality just didn't seem all there.

    OTOH, I have a P220 and a P229 and love them both.

IMHO, if you want a Sig, buy a Sig. Kinda like if you want an Acura, buy the Acura not a Honda...

No, but I did shoot one once, and didn't really care for it, so I got a SIG P228.

Don't waste your money on the pros seriously. The pros were made to compete with guns in the lower price range therefore they were made cheaper. Non metal frame etc.

I've had my 2340 for 4 months and love it. I've put 1300 rounds through it without a single malfunction and it's scary accurate. The SigPro is every bit as good as any other Sig and is often considered the "best bang for the buck" as far as Sigs go. They also have one of the best feeling triggers right out of the box and it just gets better the more you shoot it.

I can almost be 100% positive your story would be different if you had a couple of real Sigs in the safe... :sadwavey:

This is about how I'd describe my gun. I have a 2340 and it handles pretty much exactly how yous does. I like the grip, the gun's accurate as hell, and it was relatvely inexpensive.

:werd: I would've preferred a P229, but the 2340 is still a fucking great gun
