Anyone else have a bit of flab under their chin/onto the top of their neck?

    I'm 11.5% bf and I still got more than I'd like... I have no idea why. My parents say its genetics cause the whole family has it, but I don't give a shit about genetics, there's got to be a way to get rid of this shit. If I tilt my head downward it looks horrible, my jawline is no longer defined and the flab thing is like expanding around it... fuck this!?

    I'm relatively fit but not buff by any standards.... 6'1 175 lbs 11.5 % bf and as a rough example of my strength I can bench 105 (bar + 30 on each side) which is pussy ass shit compared to OT and its broly folks but I just started like a month and a half ago and I've made a lot of progress.



    Cliffs:

    -How the fuck do you get rid of that flab under the chin
    - I feel like a fat ass at 11.5%... how low should I be in your opinion? (i can grab about an inch of fat off my stomach but I have a six pack :ugh:)

    if you can grab in inch of fat off your stomach I doubt you are 11.5%


    I used to have that but I was a fat sloppy piece of shit, now that I'm a small sloppy POS I no longer have it.

    Well I went in to the gym to get my fat % literally a week ago and it was at 11.5%, and its more like a couple cm (2 or 3) im not exactly sure how much an inch is I'm just ballparking it.



    The problem is, I'm not flabby anywhere else... if I jump up and down nothing bounces around all flabby and fatty on my torso or legs... but theres still this random flab under my chin. What can I do?

    did they do a pinch test or one of those electronic gizmos?

    Electronic, but they took an average of 3 tests from different areas of the body. Is it inaccurate or something?

    Yeah, I'm obviously gonna eventually see if it dissipates because of my workout regiment, but I'm increasing my food intake and I don't want this to be a problem so I'm just curious as to whether or not other people have it too.

    If it's anything like the one I have used it's total bullshit. The one I used told me i was like 11% and then 5min later I was magically 20+%. I was then pinched at 16-17%.

    I'm probably around there too then. I guess I should start cutting fat but I do weightlifting and abs when I go to the gym and I never have time for cardio... I dunno what I should do.

    imo cardio is overrated for weight loss...tighten your diet up...

    electrical resistance tests are bs, pinch tests are better

    Kid I know has two rolls on his neck and he runs 5-6 miles 4x a week. He isn't super skinny or anything but he's hardly fat.

    It probably is a genetic thing.

    i heard my boss say strengthening the neck muscles (upper traps) behind the neck area will help tighten that. but maybe it is genetic. a lot of dynamic stretching focusing on neck and upper traps might do it, also, keep getting stronger it'll prolly help

    if you can only bench 105lbs you have zero muscle mass, that means at that bodyweight you are basically skinnyfat

    i have lose skin under my jaw too, its there unless i get to really low bodyfat percentages, when i used to be very skinny it wasnt there, but ever since i've had it.

    Diet is definitely #1.

    But i would add that i went from doing 2 miles about twice a wk on the eliptical to doing 2-3miles 4-5 times a week actual running and have seen visible improvements on my six pack in two weeks time. (or maybe its all in my head, either way i'm happier :mamoru:)

    Gee, thanks man. 105 up from 75 btw, as embarassing as that is.



    The scary thing is I'm still bulking, like I'm not even the size I want to be yet so I'm thinking this will only get worse / thicker? Fuck me.
