I personally loved the whole thing. Especially the CG Arnold Terminator.
As soon as the fucker popped up on screen the whole audience was .

Jesus mort, that sucks. At least he'll probably let you use the shower.

Wish I could think of a comic which mirrors your circumstance, might help ease the woes :mamoru:

The movie was more entertaining than it was good, but still very entertaining. Some of the "heart" stuff was a little ridiculous.

A terminator with a human heart seems a lot less ludacris than Deadpool having baracka blades in the Wolverine flick...

But I hear ya'. It was kind of fucking weird, now that Connor has a human heart that was donated to him from a Terminator hybrid. ... you know what got me, we haven't seen Connor send a Terminator back in time to save his mom. :noes:

Shit seems too important for him to forget it, ya' know? :hsugh:

not sure if this was just me. but after watching the movie it didn't seem like they were anywhere near close enough to figure out time travel. was kind of confused as how they went from using common 2009 weapons against the machines to connors having time travel capabilities :dunno: thats just me though

Maybe all the previous T1, T2 and T3 time travel fucked up the continuity and shit hit the fan earlier than expected, hindering technological advancement?

what always tripped me out was the fact that in the beginning of T1, Reese said something along the lines of "we won the war, as a last ditch effort, the machines sent back in time a terminator. We found the time machine, sent me back and destroyed the time machine." or something like that... idk we need to page Joe Cool in here to explain all this junk...

imho the only time traveling movie that did time traveling right was the Bill & Ted series

ie: "When this is all over, i'll leave the keys... HERE!"

well that's how the first one went.

but then by sending the terminator back, it gave cyberdyne the terminator technology (hardware and software) which was then being worked on in T:2, which altered the timeline again. this was the next point chosen to eliminate connor because at this point, he was "winning the war" in the future (or had already won). SkyNet sent back the T-1000 to eliminate Connor as a kid, resistance sent back the reprogrammed arniebot. movie happens, everything destroyed. the end.

Then T-3 happens. T-X sent back to kill connor, with back-up directives to kill other resistance leaders, it also initiates the virus that now results in skynet. ( :hsughno: ). Military had the basic terminators (T-1 drone things) and the hunter-killers as part of their own internal war designs. Their version of skynet was to network all military computers, which was then corrupted by the future sky-net virus, making it self-aware, resulting in judgment day.

then t-4 is just the aftermath of that, but the flashbacks show that cyberdyne had multiple subdivisions, meaning dyson's work could have been backed up off-site as well.
