My gym is fucking loaded with a whole section of Hammer Strength machines and I fucking live there. I get in my DB/BB exercises, my bench press, squats, etc, but I always get in at least 3 or 4 exercises on the Hammer machines.

Among the machines, I agree that the Hammer Strenght ones are my favourite.

I like the iso-lat pulldown. Sometimes i finish off my chest workout with the bench going heavy and repping till failure.

my elbows start hurting like hell if i use the machines for awhile, free weights + more natural range of motion = my elbows not hurting like hell like they always do when i use the machines for awhile

I have not touched one of those in years.

I do use cable+pulley type machines for a few exercises but otherwise no machines.

i tried iso-lateral chest press hammer strength machine last week when I did chest.... I didn't like it at all because it was way too hard to rep at the end point and way too easy at the beginning. I might try it again or find something similar, i want to add at least one machine exercise to my chest day

Great for assistance work, not something to build a workout around.
