    how are their reliability? 2004 with ~95,000 miles? are they gonna break down at 100k ?

    The battery packs need to be replaced eventually, those are expensive.

    Actually, Bosch brands cost less than $100 per set for my TDI. Not to mention that they only need to be replaced every 100K miles maybe.

    gf has a 2005. it's just about at 100k. she had her 90,000 mile check up about a month ago and had to get about $1200 worth of stuff done. A third of that was from this stupid sensor thing that controls the height of the headlights. Other than that, all the major stuff seems to be working just great.
