I just started it today. I really needed to find a routine, and this was layed out very easily to read, and actually followed what one of my friends was saying in doing more weight with lower reps is better.

So to those that are doing it right now, or have done it in the pass, what's your experience with it? Good routine that showed results after time, or something that really did nothing for you?

A lot of people on here have used it, it was big on the board about 6 months ago, run a search. And the less reps more weight thing vs. less weight more reps is bullshit. it's time under tension and volume. do your exercises correctly and you should see improvement in both strength and hypertrophy, though there are different routines to build each one more than the other.

I did Max OT a few months ago before switching to christophers'/Bill Starr's routine.

I'd say it's good for cutting :dunno:? Right now I much prefer the Bill Starr routine for bulking as I am much more taxed and my lifts do improve at a faster rate than when I did Max OT.

On my 4th day I use Max OT for working out my forearms, calves and biceps :greddy:.

    really fucking informative.

Anyways, as far as the original poster goes, this summer is my second time doing Max-OT, albeit this time around I kind of modified certain exercises and rep ranges.

The first was last year, and I put on a decent amount of weight and strength. The best part of it is that everything is laid out for you. So the only thing you have to do is lift hard and heavy without worrying about details, which some people can't really grasp here on this forum.
