never tried them before and thinking about throwing them in my back day tommorow.

I normally do overhand shoulder width weighted pullups, then neutral/close grip weighted pullups, Bent over Rows, and deadlift. Want to switch things around a little bit, ive been doing the same routine for a while.

Yeah, I only pull it 2 inches off the pins though. There is no need to pull it all the way unless you are in competition

rack pulls are like 1/4 benching if you aren't competing

why the fuck even ask this question, No, In my opinion they are not just something you "throw in" why do you want to do them? do you lack uper back strength or a strong lockout?

i would like to improve holding strength. I have a hard time with deadlifts, and I refuse to use straps.

Do you use a mixed grip + chalk? Chalk works wonders but my gym yells at me if I use chalk :squint: So I just stick to overhand with straps :o

So you are gonna hold back progress with deadlifts because you have grip problems and refuse to use straps?

Kinda sounds like he wants to "just add them in"

a 2 inch rack pull aint going to work much but the very top of the lock out and the grip anyways.
