Bored at work, been REALLY slow last couple of weeks :o

Anyhow, just wondering to myself here, and I don't really have an educated answer to give myself.

A little info to get you started:

    -I'm 5'10"
    -I weight 185# right now
-Before I started working out and eating seriously, the most I had ever weighed was about 170, I usually stayed at 160-165.

How much weight do you think I would be able to pack on naturally?

** I used to eat all day, whatever was in front of me during my first two years of college baseball and throughout highschool and never gained a fuckin pound. I guess it was being super active and been young. I'm still fairly young, 22, so I think I still have a lot of potential to get some serious size all while staying lean.

    What says you?

if you arent gaining weight eat more.

seriously my family had always thought the same thing about my brother. i have really good genetics and was always pretty strong, he looked like a holocaust victim. i went through his daily diet and he was eating 1600 calories a day on average. got him to start eating more and better, and he now is actually putting on ALOT of muscle and looking pretty good.

once he started actually EATING his bench went from 85- 155 in less than a month.

i'm 5'10", started at 140, am now 195ish, been hovering around the 190 mark for a while. I'm slowly putting on more lbs now, but I have to be a lot more careful about what I eat, or I start putting on too much padding. But hey DTR Rex on here is like 5'10" 215 or something with abs and is natty

Yah, I've always been skinny and pretty lean/athletic because of sports my whole life. I think one major problem was that I wasn't eating enough. I didn't realize until recently that I was intaking WAY too little carbs. Funny thing is, now that I've put on some muscle and I weigh more than I ever have, I tend to forget it is going to take more and more each time to get where i want. I tend to go back to the 165# mentality when really I'm 20# bigger.

    Aw shucks.

    easy answer huh?

    Yeah, I completely understand that.

I guess I was looking for ballpark figures... I don't think you'll see many 5'10 guys walking around at 230 still seeing abs

Don't have a camera right now, I'll try and get some pics early next week :o I just hate taking pics though.

Right now I'm 5'10 185, I just want to eat and lift as much as I can. And if/when I think I start to look fat I'll go on a serious cut. I've tried to cut twice already but got pissed both times halfway through when I realized I'm not big enough to cut yet :ugh2:

pft, I'm an asshole. If I have time I like to have my steaks/turkey/fish with sea salt and coarse (sp?) black pepper, covered in extra virgin olive oil :greddy:

My chicken, if it isn't precooked then I just throw some Tony's on it and grill those bitches.

I dunno homie. I don't count much, I just take a peek at the CALS/PRO/CARB/FIBER and if it looks like it'll work, then I eat it. If it looks like something that won't neccessarily benefit me, but will taste good as hell I try to eat some almonds until I find something healthier :greddy:

Alright used fitday and this is a MAJOR GUESTIMATE at what I'm eating everyday.

Piece of shit fitday doesn't make it easy to find food, also I'll probably just write down what the box/package says and redo it later.

    But as of today

    Protein: 351.3g (34%)
    Carbs: 318.4g (30%)
    Fat: 175g (36%)
    Fiber: 56.4g

    Alcohol (0%) :mamoru:

I drink water throughout the day constantly and fish oil gel and 1g vitamin C tab with every meal. Multi before workout, and that's about it.

**Also, fitday numbers are EXCLUDING whey shake and banana at the end of the night

I thought the ideal was like 2g per 1lb... I may be wrong, I'm not a pro

And if that is the case, 185/2 = 370 :dunno:
