What exactly do you need help with?
If you are going to setup an e-mail account, you'll need your email address, password, and incoming anf outgoing mail servers...
Go to your e-mail preferences and add an account. Input your e-mail address, your username (sometimes different than e-mail address), your password, incoming and outgoing mail server. If this mail is through your ISP, it's usually "mail.domainofISP.net". For example, mine is "mail.comcast.com". If it's a pop3 account... just an account capable of receiving mail, it's usually pop3.somedomain.com.
Press the "test" button, if the tests passes, you configured it correctly. If not, double check your input.
