So... uh... yeah, where does Superman hide his boots and cape? I mean he's wearing a nice business suit then all of a sudden he does his spin-change move, and he's got a huge cape and large, red, boots. Where'd they come from?

Also, why the fuck does anyone not recognize Clark Kent/Superman?

I've often wondered this. My explanation is that he tucks his cape into his pants, and he stores his boots in his anus.

Some things in comics aren't worth trying to figure out.

I argued with you for a second than realized that yea, comics don't need a reason to do the things they do. Just like how everyone dies and comes back to life.

that's the one thing i admire about the ultimate universe.

but i also like the different arcs done by the different writers, they kill off an important hero. amazing stuff happens because of his/her sacrifice, then some new guys take over the book and bring him/her back to do more cool stuff with the character.

i mean, if everyone stayed dead in the 616 marvel would lose readers by the boatload...i could see this happening with the big steel

"colossus is my favorite! the big pimp offed himself to cure the legacy virus...what? they're not bringing him back? EVER? :eek4: fuck this, avengers here i come...at least i know cap is never going to eat it."

I understand that they're just comics, but they try to explain the science behind everyone of Superman's powers, but then when it comes to something as simple as where does he store his boots, they can't explain it.

Or why noone fuckin recognizes him

if ur trying to figure out the lack of realisticness of a fantasy world, then you should really be figuring out why you are even asking that question in the first place.
