How do you like it? How's the Shaker system in there? The 500 watt shaker system looks nice.

How's the handling? I know the accelleration is good, even on the V6, but I haven't heard anything about the handling.

What are your opinions on buying the V6 over the GT? And anything you like/dislike about the car?

Get the GT. The 4.0 V6 is pretty peppy, and you can get both engines with a 5spd. The GT will handle a little bit better than the v6, and both cars handle pretty well. I'd love to own an `07 GT, but I'll stick with the 93

Ive only driven a manual V6, fairly quick. But you would regret buying the V6 over the 8. Look for a used one is my suggestion.

V6's require proof of vagina upon purchase.

Oh yeah, DEFINITELY used. No way I'd buy a mustang new.

Ideally, I'd want an '05 (looking to buy around august of '07) GT with leather and shaker 500 system... for around $18k max. I've seen some V6's on ebay with the system and leather for like $14-16k... Maybe if I wait til next year I can get what I want.

I just rented an 06 GT and it was a major POS. It's kind of quick but not really... Doesn't feel that great to me, handles OK. Sounds mean, that's about it. The auto tranny also sucks

nah not at all. i'm considering a bunch of cars actually, i just think the mustang has the biggest cool factor out of the cars i'm considering.

and yeah, the '05 GTO is real nice.
