although good in comparison with other vehicles in its class, the resale value of any truck is quite poor (makes leases less attractive). Furthermore, a lease completely contradicts the spirit of buying a car. You have absolutely zero to show for your purchase. You can't modify it at all (at least you're not supposed to). It's basically like borrowing your friend's car every day. More is due at singing than the comprable purchase. And at the end of the lease you are left with nothing. And we should not forget that this is a truck. And with a lease you will be punished mercilessly for any hair scratch, dent, or imperfection. And honestly, I have never seen a pickup bed that didn't have at least a little love worked into it's sheetmetal and liner. Not to mention the mileage... That's scary knowing that it's not really your truck, so you can't go over on mileage.

Now if you came in here and said you like getting a new car every 2 years, you have a lot of money to burn initially but need to keep recurring payments down, love to get the dealer to always perform full maintenance and keep immaculate records, can always park inside and ensure not a single dent or scratch, and you don't drive a lot of miles -- then I'd say go lease an Accord.

However, outside of that scenario, do not lease!

I think you're an idiot if you lease that truck.

Outside of that, you will lease it and that's going to be a decision you will have to live with.
