Anybody jumprope here?

    I do it inbetween sets, and also sometimes Just at home I jumprope for about 20 minutes.

    Would i be better off not jumping rope inbetween sets and just jumping after lifting if I am trying to lean out a bit?

    Bought one to change things up. Wasn't as fun or easy as i remember. Jump rope is in the trunk next to the straps.

    i agree, its pretty boring, but i am coming to enjoy it, it is a hard ass workout though, kicks my ass.

    i've tried it, but failed pretty bad since im not in the shape to go more then 2 mins at a decent speed. I do enjoy it but for now I stick to ellipticals

    I started jump roping again. It's pretty boring, but its not so bad if you have some good music playing.

    I'm pretty out of shape, so I just jump rope high intensity for 30 seconds, walk around my backyard for 30 seconds, then 30 seconds jumprope, rinse/repeat.

    My first day of getting back in the routine I nearly died from 4 sets of 30walk/30jump :bowrofl:

    After 2 weeks though, I am able to do 12 sets :wiggle:

    I can't jump rope. :(
    My GF used go to a mostly black kids school when she was little. She can do all that crazy shit. :rofl:

    yeah i have/do

    never done in between sets

    i go for fast 100+/min for like 5 min. then book shit for 1 min 200+, then take a min off, repeat

    i know this is mostly an american board, and im going to be flamed for this, but dont you feel like a caveman calling skipping "jump rope"

    Don't you feel like a pussy calling jump rope "skipping"? :ugh:



    Yeah, I jump rope for boxing. Usually 3 or 4 rounds of 3 minutes each with 30 seconds rest in between.

    i do...as long as i have music, i enjoy it
    getting in the groove ftw- but it's so frustrating sometimes when you keep screwing up.
    i'm pretty good, but i can't do some of the crazy advanced stuff
