    doing dead lifts for the past cpl months have really helped my hang cleans:hsd:

    hate that shit. Do you do it in 1 motion, clean to press, or separate?

    I work them into my routine every few weeks.

    I used to do them twice a week when I played football because it was great for getting more explosive. Now, I just like them because they make me sweat a lot.

    Hang cleans, power cleans, hang snatch, power snatch, etc, whatever I feel like doing.:dunno:

    any form of olympic lift is my favorite exercise

    <3 hang cleans but I'm a little apprehensive about trying snatches and the different variations.

    The only thing I'm concerned about with snatches is my arm not staying locked, or having it give out and then the bar goes flying.

    Is this a realistic concern?

    i usually do hang cleans 5x5 @185 with straps :o

    traps are coming in nicely :)

    can't wait to do these olympic lifts again after finishing up my routine. they're tiring as hell but feels so good after. i did a deadlift to hang clean to push press every few weeks. usually just deadlift to push press every week.

    I want to get back doing clean and jerks so bad, but they always totally fuck up my shoulders (I have had previous injuries). It seems to be moving the bar from the top position on my chest to my chin (just a few inches) that does it. I do strict military presses all the time, but I only lower the bar to my chin (my elbows go just below the 90 degree mark) and press it back up. I get no pain in my shoulders doing them, so :dunno:.
