MIL Anybody ever used these things before? v.artillery simulator

    Yep. They're loud enough that if you set one off right next to you, your ears ring for a good day or so... and sometimes worse. I have a slight reduction in my hearing on the right side from one of those. Same problem on the left from some ass who set off a Hoffman right next to me.

    During 21B AIT the last couple of weeks, the cadre set them up on trip wires all over the urban assault course. The whistle type wasn't so bad, but the artillery simulators would seriously shake you the fuck up. They only used the artillery sims outside in the open. If they used them inside a room or building, the overpressure would bust your eardrums. :noes:
