I'm thinking about putting my $100 iPhone credit toward a Canon G9, but they don't have it on the website yet. But they have other new Canon cameras like the SD800 IS, which is pretty new isn't it?

Anyone wanna speculate if they'll get the G9? :x:

Save it for something you can't get elsewhere. You can probably get it for about the same price through b&h or amazon as you can at apple with using the certificate. I'm looking at the rebel XTI w/ 18-55 kit lens on apple's site and it's over $100 cheaper on both b&h and amazon. Even the SD750 is $50 more at apple than at amazon, and it's a much cheaper product to start with.

Everywhere I've seen it's retail $499, no markdowns yet, since it just came out like two weeks ago. But you make a point.

Use the $100 towards Aperture or Lightroom. Well worth it if you plan on getting serious into photography.
