anybody else have a "core" day

    i do...

    decline weighted sit ups 30x4 (2 seconds up, 4 seconds down with a 10 lb plate behind my head)

    crunches 100x4

    hanging leg lifts 30x4

    then i stretch.

    i squat 3 days a week. but i dont want a wide ass back so i cant fit in conventional cars do no dead lifts.

    but, i do clean and jerks, rest the weight on my shoulders squat, push weight back up stand up weight goes back down.

    i think most people will say no because doing DL, squats and other compound movements will give you enough "core" workout so as to not warrent a separate day for "core" by itself.

    Although i think a lot of people do some isolation Ab exercizes too.

    and deadlifts wont give you a wide ass back no matter how hard you try.

    I have never dedicated a day to just abs and never will. Out of all the muscles, I hate training abs the most.

    in the respects hes talking about, it is. and, core training best be covered from your martial arts training, so no separate need for it, really.
