God damn, this show is full of hilarity.

A few of my favorite quotes from tonight's episode:

"If we see that wolf, this (single shot .22lr rifle) will stop him dead in his tracks."

"Look; a buffalo! Get the .22!!!!" :bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

    Such an entertaining show.

P.S. I'd love to do this.

4 different groups of people. Dropped off in the middle of nowhere. Given directions to a cabin/tent. Given very limited food rations. Survive for 3 months on your own. None of which have ANY outdoors experience, whatsoever.

It's kinda funny watching what some people try to do. Natural selection is a quick process without experienced people there to intervene.

I'll have to check it out sounds interesting, I'd do it but I'll bring my own rifle not relying on a .22 in Alaska, I could get food with it but it'll suck when a bears eating you, I'll take my Fulton or 91/30.

I keep it in good shape I wouldn't want it to get banged up hauling it around the alaska wilderness for 3 months :o

Other than it being heavy, I think my PTR-91 would make a wonderful SHTF/survival rifle platform. I could also bring along my .22 conversion bolt, mag, and inner barrel.:bigthumb:

Screw the .308s and SBRs and all that shit. Have a good reliable SS .300 win mag or .338 lapua bolt gun and you'd be in great shape. Reliable, durable, easy to use, dont need cleaning and plenty of punch to take out a bear or moose or other creatures you may encounter.

Then keep the .22 for hunting small game which is more likely what you would use for everyday food anyway.
