After reading the stickies, I was looking for a way to trim down and it seems like HIIT might be the way to do it. Right now I'm 5'9" and 170lbs but would like to be in the 163-165 range. Has anybody seen results from HIIT and could I apply this on the elliptical at the gym?

Why couldn't he do it on the elliptical?

Use whatever is most comfortable for you...Bike, Stairmaster, Track, etc.

Once you hit 15 or 20 minutes, I'd just start turning up resistance/incline instead of going longer.

i read articles saying that it's really good, i read articles saying that it burns muscle

HIIT and BCAAs are the only thing that i can never seem to find a solid answer on :o

y not? shit some of us have fucked up knees and can't run daily without considerable pain so we must use elliptical or bikes or some other form of lower joint impact cardio. .

Sprints make me vomit, elliptical doesnt even on the highest ressitance level and doing 150strides a min. Hell I got the one at my gym up to 350strides a min on ressitance of 8
