I'm down here for the week training for my Fight on the 22nd.

Sokoudjou gave me Judo lessons.

Gabe Ruediger is giving me psych up lessons and mma lessons.

Bryan Harper is giving me private Jiutjitsu lessons.

They're working me like one of the pros and it's really fucking hard. I'm not sure if I want to do this professionally. We'll see after my first fight. Blah, it's hard work. The cardio and the endless classes and workouts are worse than the actual thought of the fight. I'm looking forward to fighting and want all this training to be over already. This morning I finally get to have some recover time while I wait for afternoon/evening classes start.

Is anybody down here in this area that wants to give me some tips?

I'm sorta in the area, but yeah team quest hasnt had the greatest record lately. A cool place to check out though regardless but trust me everyone is going to train you differently so throw out the 90% bullshit that is next to useless and take the 10% that will work for you and your style. Don't let one gym change your whole perspective on how to fight.

Soko, Lindland, Sonnen have all had a bunch of recent losses.

Hendo's awesome though, have you got a chance to meet him Sirc?

thank god team quest = soko

as a whole that gym is on a really good rebound if anything. Hendo has been back in top form. Soko snapped his losing streak, Krystof has looked really dominant.
Mayhem has had 1 loss since 06 and is about to get his second title.

team quest temecula is doing just fine.

He's really nice. Not as tall as I had expected and also not nearly as wide as I would have expected. Those cameras make these dudes look enormous. Dan is a machine and is mentally probably the most secure fighter I've ever met. Nothing phases the guy. He's really intense and has a great crowd controller.

Team Quest is on the up and doing just fine. I saw Krystof yesterday at the pro team practice, I think he's got a good shot.

I used to be an Olympic nominee for TKD. I've gone the distance in competition, I have no doubt that I could put in the effort and training and have the athleticism to do it. I just dunno if I wanna do it. Talking to Gabe about it, it's a shit ton of baffoonery to get any kind of reciprocation for all that work. Gabe was the lightweight title holder for the WEC and he still got paid shit for his work.

He's been training all sorts of shit that I'm not supposed to talk about and he's gotten really scary good on the ground. He's also gotten out of his mind jitters.

Anybody around who wants to play just let me know, I'd like to hang out and hang out at least while I'm out here during recovery time. I'm doing 4 classes a day right now and it suuuucks. Thank god for the Jacuzzi.

 @ TKD and taking advice from gabe reudiger

seriously though just train hard, make sure you're smart about your weight cut, and try to stay relaxed come fight night. the biggest thing for your first fight is that unless you're chuck liddell you'll probably be pretty damn nervous and the adrenaline will have you by the balls. if you can get over that then you can fight your game.
