Whats up. I just wanted to see how many ZX12-R or Busa riders we had here. I have a 2000 ZX12-r with fully Muzzy system, K&N, and thats about it besides sliders ect.
I am looking for advice on tires. Something with killer grip in the twisties even with the sacrifice of wear. I am riding on a crappy Shinko so I am ready to replace them.

Thanks I will check those out. Also I heard about the Dunlop Qualifiers being a good gripping tire, with dual compounds. Harder in the middle and softer the farther you get out. Anyone have any time expeirience with these?

I heard good things about both of these, in reality I think its riders preference but I heard the pilots warms up as soon are you roll.

I always been a fan of dunlops 208's I think these are great tires for street/track use. and they last too. I also know people that don't like these tires at all.

it's all personal preference/and riders skill level...

Best skins I have ever had, period.

I am on my 5th set, had 208's previously and couldn't believe the difference.

Sweet thanks for the info. I am headed to get something new this afternoon. I have had the I need to buy something bug lately so tires and stands sound like a logical thing to get.

    Thanks again.

I will never forget when I got my first set on. It was a damp day, cold too and they felt better than my 208's did...lol.

They heat up so quick, I can bang pegs on my way out the driveway :bigok:

Busa here. I ride the dogshit out of mine and still run sport-tour tires. Avon AV45/46 combo. Only slips occasionally and when it does it isn't a heart stopper and it feels very controlled.
