I have a very hard time gaining weight. Im 6'3" and weigh only 170 lbs. I have been very dedicated to the gym and my progress has increased alot. Im happy with lifting, but im not happy im not gaining weight. I try to eat as much as i can, but the meal every 2 hours really cant work for me. Im just to busy to stop and eat every 2 hours. Many people at the gym tell me im doing good and getting bigger, which i can see, but im still to skinny. I have been serious about lifting for 1 year now i would say. I have tried muscle milk, cytogainer and the muscle milk really didnt work as geting size, but i felt more energy and strength from it. The ctyogainer made my stomach fat and that is all .

Any suggestions besides eating as much as i can? Any other weight gainers i should try. Note. im trying to stay away from creatine.

Creatine has been stated as one of the biggest 'breakthroughs' in bodybuilding in this generation.

There is NO long term side effects of Creatine - Hell... It's naturally produced in the body, and if you take double the serving size of your creatine supplement, you'll piss the excess out.

Creatine can and will help weight lifting under nearly all circumstances.

Get on it and stay on it.. There is no reason not to.

Other than that.. Start logging exactly what you eat. It will be tedious at first, but second nature after a bit.

Just think food in = muscle out. Even if you pump test into your glutes 3x / day -- but don't have the food to support muscle production... You're up shit creek.

if u have a small stomach capacity liquid meals are a good temporary solution. dont depend on them solely for ur caloric intake. at my peak of bulking i would intake ~1400cals from shakes alone, then rest from food, for a total of ~4500 cals.

thanks guys for the replies i think i will give it a shot. Im not really trying to sound all pissy, but it sucks after i dedicated myself for a year at the gym, that i have people still call me skinny. I wouldnt say to a person your fat, but they feel it is okay to say to someone your skinny, i assume because it is not a bad comment to make.

Im still weak at shit, but when i first started i was able to bench the bar and 30 lbs. Now a year later i can do a good set with like 155 lbs which is still shit, but i look where i started from.

I'm not here to argue, but don't tell some one something is safe just because it's produced naturally in the body.

Creatine is safe, you're correct, but not because of that reason.

According to my friend Patrick, yes. Apparently, working out and getting in shape is also disruptive to the chi flow, because he sure as hell doesn't do it.
