Some douchebag friend of mine spilled a drink on my macbook yesterday while it was open, I dried everything off and it all seems to be fine but there is a slight stick to the trackpad button. Does anyone know any way how to take that off so I can clean it?

So I talked to my friend and he said that he would pay for it to be professionally cleaned as long as it wasn't overly expensive. Any suggestions of where to go for that or do you think if I brought it into Apple they could take care of it?

You don't have to pay for anything. Just call up apple and say the button got sticky for some reason. Apple has the best customer service in the industry. I get my iPod fixed all the time when it's my fault its broke. They won't charge you anything and you'll have everything fixed in less than five days from you call em up till when its in your hand fixed.

    um, no.

take it into an apple store - they won't clean it, they'll just replace the entire top case, and shouldn't cost you much over $100.
