any way to boost the wifi signal gain on my 13" macbook?

    university wifi will connect and disconnect, probably because i'm in my car in a parking garage, lol

    any way to boost the signal with an external?
    i don't have a card slot, so i can't do it the traditional way

    There's one for 100.

    But just imagine (if their statments are true) getting a signal from half a mile away. You could be on a wireless network almost anywhere you go (as long as you're in a city)

    This and some RAM would make for a sweet christmas.

    i wonder how it works. i'm guessing it's just a usb wifi adapter with an omni antenna

    looks nice though
