Tickets from RI state, if it makes a difference.

10mph over/crazy speeding ticket wtf does not compute 10 over is fucking slow. Shit son go to court see if they will lower or drop it but for 95 bucks if it doesn't go on your record I would just pony up the money but still go to court because some courts here when they are overloaded they lower all tickets to non moving violations. Also depending on your age you may be able to take a simple class.

In TX if this is your first offense in awhile you could get deferred adjudication...essentially nothing on your record if you get no tickets in 6 months.

it's tough cause the ticket is in RI and the court date its June 2nd, after school ends, so it would be 150mi each way for me to attend the court date, its the first ticket i have ever gotten. I just have never heard of a ticket for 75 in a 65.

Hire a lawyer and have him show up for you...a little more pricey but so is 300 miles in gas.

Lawyers cost a lot more than $95.

see if RI has a system for trial by declaration.

Or just man the fuck up and pay the ticket. Better than my bullshit 32 in a 30 zone ticket :ugh:

    They can write those?

In FL 5mph over is the first speeding ticket when not in a schoolzone or construction zone. However, they can still write a "failure to obey traffic sign" ticket that's like $50.
