pros/cons on the p22?
no P38, no care
im not looking for anything to serious.. just a range gun for me and the lady friend and a carry weapon in the vehicle.
Heard good things about them.
Certain years have some issues with the attachable tip coming loose and some years have had issues with frequent jamming. But I believe that was remedied by fixing something with the magazines. Other than those 2 issues, I have heard they are great guns and a lot of fun to shoot.
They look really nice too.
Fun little gun to shoot. I've put about 5k down mine and have only had a problem with the safety engaging while firing easily fixed though.
walther owner crew but i've never owned/shot a p22
I have a P22 and love the thing. I've only put about 1500 through it so far. I never had a problem until today when I tried Remington Hollow Points for it, it was having problems feeding and ejecting the ammo. I also had the safety walk today.
I'm gonna go back to shooting the Federal Match Target ammo for it. At the local gun store it's like $35 for 500 and definately worth it.
i found HP doesnt work well in my p22. i love mine, never had an issue with it, and the girls like to shoot it
Pros: Looks sweet with my suppressor
Cons: small in my hand, but the pro far outweighs that
I like the hell out of mine. Shoots the Federal Auto Match Bulk very well.
ive probably put 3k through mine, very reliable
i have one as well. it was pretty picky on ammo, but i think that was the break in period. they make +3 base pads now that i need to order.
I had one but sold it because of eratic behavior. I still have the can but havent found something to put it on yet.. Maybe the Mosquito
I love my P22, fun little gun. Not terribly accurate but a hoot to plink with. Some of the earlier models had reliability issues but mine is newer and has given me no trouble.
I own a walther, but not a pistol.
