I'm taking a class in a few weeks a decided I want a cheap but decent IWB kydex backup/alternative for my Milt Sparks SSII. The Scorpion is basically a ripoff of the Threat Solutions UCR design which always got good reviews (and is apprarently no longer avialable).

Really the only negative I read about it (aside from "copycat") is that the "inside" of the holster is molded, instead of smooth like the UCR was.

Just curious if anyone had one and could comment.

Actuall after looking at it some more I don't think I'm too wild about how much of the trigger guard it leaves exposed. :hsughno:

pay $30 more and get a M-TAC from Comp-Tac which is MUCH better than that.

What's going to get in there, a rabid coat hanger? It looks like a decent plastic rig. Not a lot of adjustability, though.

My TAC-1 CTAC clone is similar, but a bit more adjustability. What gun is it for?

If Rich can get it to you in before the class, I'd recommend him.

I also recommend the MTAC. Love mine.

Its for a Glock 19. Never heard of TAC-1.

If I really wanted a new primary carry rig then the MTAC is at the top of the list. Just wanted to cheap-out really.

I'll just toss my kydex OWB in my range bag as a backup in case my SSII straps break or some shit. I thought I might go nuts reholstering and drawing from a tight leather IWB 11ty times over 3 days but I'll manage. :hsughc:
