    what is it that you want to do? first thing you need to know is that the appliction process is for OTS is terribly long, many times a year from Board selection to leaving for OTS

    pilot, pretty sure that makes the wait even longer :o

    anything really;
    fighter
    CSAR heli pilot
    cargo pilot

    im still reviewing options other than flying. ive always wanted to fly since i was 5, but at this point in my life im down for anything that changes from day to day, i can stand making the same drive 3 miles to work, standing around for 8 hours, and going to bed...just to repeat the next day.

    remember that you apply for Pilot, not fighter pilot or Heli or cargo Pilot. you very well will get stuck with something you dont want. Especially out of OTS becasue ots guys are last to fill the yearly alloted slots.

    http://www.airforceots.com/portal/modules.php?name=Forums

    is the best website for OTS applicants, search around every question has been anwsered there and you can see what other applicants look like and compare

    haha, i would probably be there by now. tho looking thru that AFOTS forum it seems like the avg age going in is 27-30+.

    that was on of my concerns since im 24 how, and i wont have my degree for at least 1-2 years from now. thought i was getting in to this a little too late.

    this way i get some time to get some volunteer work as well as some othing things to add to my resume.

    i see a bunch of people asking to proof their personal statements, but i didnt seem to see where it said what that was? i think i have an idea what it is, but...cliffs?

    the things you will need when applying are AFOQT scores, transcripts, letters of reccomendation, and a personal statment along with a ton of random paper work. The statment is just your run of the mill I want to be in the AF becasue, I would bring xxxx to the AF and such.

    1/4th of the exposed body part is all that can be covered. you should be ok with a t shirt.
