Any truth to this statement? Are we wrong in super-bulking and super-cutting?

[font=VERDANA, GENEVA, MS SANS SERIF][size=-2][font=Arial,Helvetica,ms san serif,Verdana,Geneva][size=-1]forgive me if i'm wrong, but isn't that saying that we SHOULDN'T be eating like a cow to bulk and then dieting to lose weight. isn't that saying that we SHOULD eat normally and healthy and accept normal gains that come with exercise?

12lbs a year? compare that to what you can gain bulking/cutting and i think i'd still go with bulking/cutting.

dude, you can still eat all you want and gain weight, its easier that way, less organized and more fun, but you can still eat clean, not gain as much fat, and still gain a good amount of muscle but you have to eat very clean, food you dont like, and be more organized about how much you eat etc.

12lbs lean a year natural is pretty damn good. unless you're noob, but thats probably for someone working out for a couple years with a good diet.

seems like bulking/cutting would be a faster approach. but i'm sure he is right about the less fat gain from taking that approach.

IMO ecto's shouldnt consider taking that approach. but arnold > me

"He now confesses that eating a proper diet all year round is a better approach to health and fitness."

i don't know if he's saying for overall health or for actual mass....i know what the rest of the article says, but this kind of throws me off

Most of you people don't seem to have an idea of what 12lbs of lean mass is. Most of you probably don't put that on in a year anyway.

    Picture a 12lb steak.

I've always thought the "I ate half a tub of muscle milk, 10 double whoppers, and 2 quarts of ice cream" OT method of bulking was shitty anyway.

Thats cuz you didn't add candy bars in the list, they are key to a successful bulk.

Bulking/cutting is pretty much yo-yo dieting.

I've been here for like 4 days and the only "bulking" I've seen is people eating like pigs, but shittier food then a pig would eat.

You're a fucking moron, yoyo dieters don't try to gain muscle mass, they just try to lose scale weight, now kill yourself.

I don't recall ever seeing good pictures of Doggcrapp, much less pics of him at sub-8% bodyfat.

So I could really give two shits what he thinks about dieting.
