I'm with 24 hour fitness, and they have no gyms really arround new mexico, oklahomo, very few in arkansas, and none in Louisiana. I found the YMCA honors fed employees for free, but thats it, and they aren't open any hours where I can get in.

Any other suggestions? I'm thinking about changing facilities.

theres a pass you can buy with 24 hour that lets you use any of their gyms across the U.S.

Yeah, just tell them you're from out of town and see what they can offer you. Or just walk in and tell them you're interested in joining, but you'd like to have a one week trial first. :dunno:

I use to travel 3-4 days a week.

Call the hotel beforehand and see if they are partnered with any local gyms or if there is any local gyms in the area that charge per visit. Sometimes it was cheaper for me to join the local gym than pay per visit and most of the time the hotel had a partner. Sometimes I would have to change to a different hotel but oh well.

I have never seen a hotel gym worth a damn except for early morning cardio or ab work.

I use that approach, but I'm not always in major cities, more like 150k population towns typically.

Virtually all of them require a driver's license with an in-state address for that, unfortunately.

I knew they required a Driver's License, but it has to be in state? That sucks!

Where in Louisiana? I know LSU has a PL team so if you contact them they should probably be able to help.

Yeah. The last hotel I stayed in (it was a Hampton Inn, which I think is owned by Hilton) had a fitness center that consisted of two treadmills and a bike. They also had free passes for a Gold's Gym that was like 1 mile away. You should be able to get free passes for some gyms. Talk to the people at the hotel front desk.
