I have a carmax logo on the back of my truck, each letter is an individual sticker. I picked up a corner of the x but it leaves a residue behind it. How can I get rid of the sticker and the residue without messing up my paint?

For the sticker use a hairdryer to heat it up some to sofen up the adhesive to make them easier to remove.

Residue = 3m Wax and Adhesive Remover. I've gotten it before at Pepboys.

I had to do this on my truck with the dealership sticker they put on it.

i have removed a few dozen of these and most do not require a heat gun. they come off quite easily as long as you can get under a corner. Heat makes it easier, but also easier to burn the paint if not careful. hair dryer is safer than heat gun, although not as effective.
